Get to know me

My name is Maclaren! I’m 25 years old and I have had the privilege to call Alaska my home for my entire life. I grew up playing basketball and other sports in my hometown until I landed my first job at Revive in 2018 as a front desk receptionist. I quickly learned that the beauty industry offered far more than I ever imagined. I became a Licensed Esthetician in 2019 and one of Revive’s Esthetician Educators in 2021 and never looked back!

I spend my work days performing lash lifts, chemical peels, facials, and eyebrow services. My passion for lash lifting goes hand in hand with a huge passion for corrective skincare from my own struggles with acne. I know firsthand how the beauty industry can make a positive impact on how you view yourself, which is why enhancing natural beauty is a pillar of my work. Fun fact, the first service I ever received was a lash lift and tint long before I was licensed! I took one look at my lifted lashes and knew it was something I wanted to be able to offer to people.

On my off days you will either find me in my house working on a crochet project or in the woods and mountains foraging for plants, berries and mushrooms. I love making jellies and whatever else I can with ingredients from nature! I’m also a huge homebody and I love spending time at home with my partner. We love to nurture our creative sides with art, music, and anything else we can get our hands on!

The beauty industry offers me a place to nurture my creative side while also giving me the opportunity to educate and share my knowledge with others. I absolutely love watching the “light bulb” or “click” moment when one of my student’s confidence starts to build when learning a new skill or service! I am so excited to be able to offer training to other professionals on one of my favorite and most popular services, the lash lift and tint! I am so happy you are here and I can’t wait to work with you!
